Welcome to Treth House
Treth House is a California-style Lodge close to the famous Trevaunance Cove in the beautiful Cornish village of St Agnes. ('Treth' is a Cornish word meaning 'beach' or 'sea-shore'.) It has a natural sedum roof and high levels of insulation - cool in summer, snug in winter!
Treth House is the ideal base for surfing, relaxing on the beach, walking or just getting away from it all.
It is situated on a quiet hillside site off Rocky Lane. The house has commanding views over the wooded valley and towards the sea. The beach is less than five minutes' walk down the hill, and both north and south coastal paths are within the same distance.
The renowned Driftwood Spars pub and brewery is also 5 minutes walk away offering live music throughout the year. Check out www.driftwood spas.co.uk for more information.
The centre of St Agnes is only 10-14 minutes' walk away, via the path just along the road to Treth House parking. There are shops for just about everything, including two mini-markets, a greengrocers, amazing bakery, deli, butchers, coffee shops as well as a great choice of pubs and restaurants. The Peterville Inn and The Tap House are highly recommended and both only 10-15 mins' walk away along Quay Road. (See Local area for more information)
St Agnes is the great place to stay all year round and the local community are the friendliest and so welcoming!
