Guestbook

Thank you so much for a lovely weekend. The house is beautiful and so comfortable, we loved ST Aggies. We really appreciated the products left for use, I’ve now swapped my handwash for the type in the bathroom and I thoroughly enjoyed feeding the birds and watching them on the deck.

Sara and Steve,

This is a wonderful place to stay! Very light and airy inside, peaceful and quiet, with easy access to the beach and the centre of St Agnes. The apartment is well equipped with very comfortable seating and dining area. I can highly recommend this as a place to stay.

Rose,

A lovely log cabin type two bed house on the cliff side just up from the beach at St Agnes. 10 minute walk to the village up the hill, lots of nice food places, The Peterville and the St Agnes Hotel are both nice with a good menu. We walked to Newquay and it took us 5 hours in total, a great walk and saw lots of seals! Drove to lands end, 1 hour from the house. Well equipped house, lots in the kitchen to use, we didn’t really cook much. Showers and bath are nice. Beds are comfy too.

Jenny,

We loved our stay at Treth House. It’s a very beautiful, peaceful spot and the house itself is very nicely decorated, comfortable and fitted with everything you might need. It’s perfectly located in a quiet area but a short walk to beach or town. Kerry and Jon were friendly, helpful and communicative. We will be back for sure!

Ewa,

Amazing place. Will definitely stay there again.

Jamie,

A wonderful space. Perfect for a mini get away. A fabulous 3 days. Thankyou

Nathalie,

We enjoyed a lovely few nights by the sea. The accommodation was light and comfortable. The kitchen was clean and really well equipped. Bathrooms great. Beds comfortable. Lovely walk up to the village, down to the sea or onto the cliffs. Couldn’t have asked for more.

Claire,

Relaxing, had everything we need to have a lovely quiet break. short distance from local shops, pubs and restaurant at driftwoodspars.

Rosie,

Relaxing, had everything we need to have a lovely quiet break. short distance from local shops, pubs and restaurant at Driftwood Spas.

Rosie,

Really enjoyed our stay at Kerry's place, felt right at home. So many homely touches, books, games, dvds and useful leaflets. Definitely a holiday for any walkers, although we are used to living in a very flat area. On a clear day and night the views are wonderful and we would definitely visit again.

Madeline,

Kerry's place is a great location for a break in St Agnes; near the beach, walkable to the village centre, and very private. The accommodation itself was lovely, exactly as described and it had everything we needed for our holiday.

Stu,

We had such an enjoyable time. Kerry was a very responsive host. The facilities were fabulous, comfy beds and very well equipped, little additions made our stay very enjoyable as well as the accommodation being light and spacious. Treth House is situated in a quiet wooded valley with beautiful views of the tin mines and glimpses of the sea. A short steep walk down to Driftwood Spa pub and the beach takes only five minutes and only fifteen minutes walk into St Agnes which has a great thriving community with excellent places to eat. I would thoroughly recommend!

Dinah,

Four generations aged eighteen months to seventy nine years Four night stay May 2023.
Treth House is ideally positioned in quiet, private gardens with a few similar lodges. It is not overlooked by any other properties and feels private and secluded.
The lodge is attractive, well maintained, very well equipped and deceptively spacious, it has a lovely area for outside dining, which is beautifully lit up at night. Our party consisted of six adults, one toddler and a dog and it accommodated us very comfortably.
It is a short walk down to the beautiful Trevaunance Cove and The Driftwood Spars pub. The walk back up is steep but we just took our time. St Agnes is also within walking distance along a public footpath and worth a visit, especially the bakery!
There is only one parking space available but this was not an issue. We used a pay and display a short walk away for the second car.
We were attending wedding at The Driftwood Spars and Treth House was ideally located for our stay.
We felt Treth house was fairly priced and a lot of thought has gone into providing everything one could possibly need whilst there.
We would highly recommend.

Kay,

Amazing accommodation in a stunning location - highly recommended!

Ken,

We chose to stay here as we had a wedding to attend at Driftwood Spars just down the hill! We loved the area surrounding Treth House and Treth house itself! Couldn’t fault the house, had everything we needed! Only wish we had booked to stay longer!

Sarah,

Extremely happy! we received very clear instructions and directions to the property which made our stay absolutely comfortable and stress free. the property is in a beautiful location, walking distance to a lovely pub. we loved chilling in the living room and the kitchen was just perfect. great beds and showers! thank you!

Cecilia,

I can't recommend this place highly enough. Perfectly positioned about a 5 minute walk from the beautiful beach and historic Driftwood Spars Pub. Close enough to the village and all it's amenities to do without the car. That said, all the paths and roads around the property are steep, so the less infirm might need a car to get about. Treth House itself is a beautiful 'California' style wooden lodge. It's very cozy yet airy and light. Sea views. Very peaceful location. The terrace is the perfect place to relax in the sun with a cuppa. Very good value for money!

Lawrence,

Really beautiful house tucked away a few minutes walk from the beach, with everything we needed (highchair, travel cot, etc) already there!

Christianne,

Treth House worth more than 5 stars 🌟. Beautifully clean, well equipped. We didn't want to leave and would love to return. We would 100%recommend.

Ben,

We had the most wonderful stay. The accommodation was absolutely perfect and we would highly recommend it!

Tina,

An incredible stay over Christmas for my husband and I and our 2 border terriers Vinnie and Tony. A home from home beautifully presented and so so cosy. We will definitely be back, thank you

Fiona,

Love Treth House
We shared our break with friends, perfect property and location for the Wedding we attended at the Driftwood. Would definitely come back. 5 Stars.

Terri,

Treth House is absolutely lovely. It’s a great mix of rustic and modern in a beautiful little town. Two bedrooms, and two bathrooms which are very comfortable and well decorated. The beach is just a short walk away which was perfect for us with our cocker spaniel, complete with a lovely coastal walk. Great central location to move about Cornwall. We drove down to St. Ives and surrounding towns which was just about a 30 minute drive away, and also went up to Padstow which was a 50 minute drive. The deck area was lovely, though we didn’t use it much due to the weather, but gives a stunning view of the coast and town. Would highly recommend.

Lauren,

Spotlessly clean throughout. Treth House is immaculate, tastefully and simply decorated and superbly equipped, it really is a home from home. The location is great, just a 5 minute walk from the beach. The village of St Agnes is lovely and welcoming, would definitely recommend the local bakery, Cornish Pasties and sausage rolls to die for! The raised decking area is lovely and although we didn’t have the weather to fully enjoy it, we can appreciate how you could lose so many hours sat on it enjoying the view. Would thoroughly recommend staying here.

Tim,

Great location, very quiet. Property has all the facilities you might need. Some great walks nearby, we enjoyed our stay.

Jeremy,

Lovely place to stay - fantastic location in easy walking distance from the village centre and the beach and Driftwood Spars Hotel. Spotlessly clean, lovely indoors space and lovely veranda with a view of the sea.

Rob,

Perfect place to relax by the coast! Very comfortable with everything that you need with views of the sea! Would highly recommend and hope to come back and stay again soon!

Christopher,

Peaceful, great views, lovely welcoming local pub. Accommodation was spotless. We would defo recommend if you’re looking to unwind and chill out.

Sam,

Visited St Agnes with friends from London - perfect place to stay, very comfortable, all facilities stylish, welcoming, cosy and an all-round joy to stay in. Ideally located for the village, walks and beaches. The perfect getaway. Hope to be back!

Alex ,

We’ve just returned from a week at Treth house that was perfect in every way. The house was ideally located for the beach and pubs which gave us plenty to do during our stay. We visit Cornwall every year and this is by far our favourite place we have stayed, clean, cosy and has everything you need! We are already looking at booking our next stay

Elena,

We have just returned home from a lovely week at Treth House (well at least our bodies have, I think our minds and hearts are still there at the moment!).
We stay around St Agnes most years as we love the area, but usually we camp, this year we decided to ditch the tent for a bit of luxury and that is exactly what Treth House gave us, a real home from home with stunning surroundings.
Thank you so much for the opportunity to stay at your beautiful holiday home, we hope we can return again!!

Sara, David & Joseph ,

Superb location for walks, beaches and pubs.
Treth House is a great pad ....... comfortable, homely, well thought out ~ spot on.
I really hope to return to it, sooner rather than later.

Kim,

We had the most incredible time at Treth House, it really is a home from home experience. The beds, living area and bathrooms are kitted out to a lovely standard and make staying there so easy and comfortable. The view is incredible and we enjoyed many BBQs on the decking. A stones throw away from the beautiful beach and amazing bakery with the best pasties and sausage rolls. We have no complaints about our stay, just wish we could stay longer and look forward to staying again soon. The kids loved it so much they didn’t want to leave. Thank you

Kerry,

Loved the cabin situated in a great location in a lovely village, with all that we could need. Also acted as the perfect base to easily be able to go out and explore the rest of Cornwall.

Catherine,

We had the best time at Treth House. Location was great. Views from the house were stunning. 5 mins walk down to the beach. There were great touches we hadn’t thought of such as the beach cart, plenty of towels, the travel cot and dog bed were left set-up for us. We were also able to check in early which was really handy with our baby, Thank you. We hope to come back again.

Clemmie,

Literally perfect. Gorgeous property, beautiful views, great location. Clean, quiet and beautifully decorated. Comfortable bed and living area, full kitchen and dining facilitates and instant hot water! Couldn't find a fault even if I wanted to. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Rebecca,

I cannot tell you how impressed we were with this property and you must believe all the good things you read about Treth House as it is an Excellent place to stay. We were lucky enough to stay over Christmas and New Year, The House is immaculate and has everything you may need for a long or short stay. Nestled on quiet track above the cove with sea views and a beautiful decking area you are only a short 2 minute walk down the hill to the nearest pub/restaurant and the beach. St Agnes itself is a beautiful village with everything you need and plenty to do should you not wish to use the car again after you arrive. My husband and I have stayed in St Agnes many times over the years and this is by far our favourite, so good that we have already booked to go again twice this year! The owners Kerry and Jon could not have been more helpful and were always on hand at the end of the phone with any queries we had.

Thank you for such a brilliant time.

Karen and Craig,

What a great little find tucked away with great views!!

Will definitely be coming back here soon with the family, walking distance to everything you need in St Agnes, a few hills but all part of the fun.

Thanks again

Paul,

Have just spent October half term in Treth House with 6 adults and 2 dogs. Even though it’s a 2 bedroom property it’s spacious both in and outdoors so we weren’t on top of each other at all. The house has a bright modern beach house feeling, the owners have thought of everything with very comfortable beds, great showers and a well equipped kitchen with a great dining area. The smart TV means you can relax and enjoy anything on amazon prime or Netflix there are plenty of DVD’s to choose from as well. St Agnes is in a fabulous location with easy access to the beach and coast walks meaning you don’t have to get in the car to do anything, the local pubs restaurants and bakery all have excellent food with a warm welcome everywhere - we can’t wait to come back!

Abigail ,

Beautiful property, exceptionally well equipped, quiet and tranquil. We'll definitely be returning.

Hayley,

We stayed at Treth in late September as a party of 4 adults with a small dog. We have been visiting St Agnes for several years and had our wedding at the Driftwood Spars.

As a Cornish base, St Agnes is great. It is well located, has several good pubs, a butchers, green grocers, takeaways and bakery all of which are of very high quality and very friendly without being over crowded or over touristy.

There is surfing at the cove with a local surf instructor (if required) and many beautiful views from the cliff tops nearby.

Treth was very well presented and had all the amenities that we could have needed, a lovely decked area at the front ideal for barbecues, a well provisioned kitchen, TV and DVD for rainy days.

The property is spacious enough for us to not get under each other’s feet and comfortable in the evenings.

All in all, I would recommend Treth House for anyone who wants a Cornish break with an emphasis on the local community, scenery and wildlife.

Will,

We stayed at Treth for a week at the beginning of September along with our dog Freddie. The property is ideally situated for both the cove and the village, which still retains a sense of community unlike some resorts in Cornwall. We found six different walks all of about 3 to 4 hours along the beautiful and interesting coast (lots of disused tin mines), two of them punctuated by a visit to a local farm cafe for lunchtime panini or afternoon tea and cake. The small village offers good shopping facilities together with about five pubs, fish and chip shop and a great pizza place. The property is well fitted out and surprisingly roomy and the large deck is ideal for a beer or G & T after a long walk. Later in the evening we watched the bats hunting from the deck. Need a degree of fitness as the road off which it is situated is very steep. Plan to return next summer.

John ,

We stayed in Treth House in August 2020 and had a lovely time. The lodge is perfectly located between beach and village (both easily walkable). You don't need to leave St Agnes if you don't want to - great beach with lots to do for all ages, lovely walks from the doorstep and a supermarket, butchers, bakers and takeaway options in the village. The lodge itself is superbly set out and comfortable, with fantastic views of the sea; a very tranquil setting. We will definitely be back!

Kate,

My partner and I stayed in Feb 2020 for 4 nights with our 4mth old dog. We had a brilliant time even though the weather was rubbish. The house itself is fantastic, very spacious and had everything we needed. Because the weather was so bad at the time, we ended up binge-watching TV. The TV in the house is a smart TV so Netflix etc was available. The location is also good - it is on a hillside of the cove, so if you walk to the local bar or down to the actual cove, the road is quite steep. The Drifterwood Spars bar is lovely and the food is great. This is only a 7 or 8-minute walk down the hill. Few minutes drive from the house you can find various cafes and bars in St Agnes itself - we never experienced anywhere bad!

We managed a few walks - the SW Coastal walk was great with amazing views. We also managed to get down to Hayle beach with the dog, which was good fun.

Overall I would highly recommend this accommodation. We will be back I'm sure.

cheers

Paul

Paul ,

Spent a lovely weekend in January at Treth House. Great tonic to beat the January blues. Arrived and all was warm and welcoming. Went for a short walk on the beach followed by beer and bogof fish and chips at The Driftwood Spas. They were really welcoming. Treth house is an ideal spot for both meandering around St Agnes and walking the coastal path - both of which were lovely . We topped off Saturday with a fabulous meal at Taste -scallops to die for. Strongly recommended. We all had a fabulous weekend in Treth house. The lodge is fully equipped to a high standard . Can’t wait to go back!

Sue ,

We recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at Treeth House, Our daughter lives in St Agnes and we are frequent visitors. Having stayed in a number of Holiday Lets in the village we found this to be ideal for many reasons. The position is excellent with superb views, it is conveniently placed near the beach and The Driftie and is a short walk up Rocky Lane to our daughter's house. The House is very well appointed and everything works which is a bonus. We love the modern feel and last but not least parking is easy(St Agnes cottages often have limited parking). We highly recommend Treeth House for its position, views, interior and exterior design and local amenities, We would love to visit again in the near future.

Martyn and Christine ,

My wife and I booked Treth House for our honeymoon in May 2018 and can only have great words to say about it. The property is set in a stunning location just minutes away from St Agnes beautiful beach and coastal paths, as well as the village centre. As well as being in a great location it has everything you would need for a luxury stay and the place was immaculate throughout. We highly recommend it for anyone wanting to explore this beautiful part of the country.

George ,

We spent 2 weeks in september in St. Agens and Treth House and in spite of the bad weather we had a wonderful time. It was always nice to come home in such a well equipped and cosy house. Everything we needed was there. The house also very quiet and in walking distance of the beach and St. Agnes.
We walked along the South West Coast Path which is a really amazing coastline.
We can surely recommend Treth House.

Luc ,

Me and my family spent a lovely week at Treth House in Autumn half term. The house is very warm and cosy with a really comfy large double bed. A really well equipped kitchen making meal times really easy. The position is fabulous with the beach in walking distance and lots of lovely local resturants to choose from in St Agnes. It is a great base to explore this wonderful corner of Cornwall.

Rebecca ,

We have just returned from our second stay at Treth House. We enjoyed our fist visit so much, we immediately re-booked for the following year!
We have stayed in and around St Agnes for over 15 years and Treth House is a real gem. In a secluded and quiet location, yet only a few minutes walk to Trevaunance Cove and the beach or a brisk 10 minute walk to the village with all the local facilities you would need.
Driftwood Spars provides a very convenient and close eatery and the local micro brewery proved a big hit with my husband!
Cliff top walks from St Agnes to Chapel Porth and beyond are a must, for the stunning scenery and ruined engine houses.
A few miles drive away is our favourite beach at Porthtowan as when the tide goes out, you gain access to a 3 mile stretch of sandy beach and caves to explore.
Treth House is comfortable, modern, well equipped and clean. Roy & Josette are a dream to deal with too and are very responsive to any queries you may have.

Marian ,

My children and I spent a lovely week at Treth House. The owners have made it a real home from home. The accommodation is well laid out and equipped and in the perfect spot to experience all St Agnes has to offer. The cream tea on arrival was a lovely surprise. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the accommodation to family and friends.

Jane ,

We were four adults who stayed at Treth House for one week in May/June. The cottage was clean, spacious, modern and tastefullly decorated with a wonderful deck with views down to the cove. We enjoyed the amenities the cottage had such as the washer/dryer and dishwasher. It was a short walk down to the beach via the path and a pleasant 10-15 minute walk to the village with lots on offer. We had one of the best Sunday roasts at the St Agnes Hotel. I would highly recommend Treth House and would love to return one day as we had a wonderful time here.

Narelle ,

What a wonderful property to spend a holiday in. It is nested in a truly magnificent setting high above Trevaunance Cove with views out to Wheal Kitty - furnished to an extremely high standard with all mod cons including super-fast broadband. From here you can take breath-taking walks to Perranporth, 6 miles, and Chapel Porth, along jaw-droppingly steep cliff paths with amazing vistas at each step. St Agnes village is a short walk up the footpath close to the house where you will find all amenities including many good eateries.

Jenny ,

Roy & Josette - what a lovely stay we had at Treth House.
The house is so snug and cosy even during the winter - we were blessed with some sunny days and so it was great to pop out, and complete many circular walks which afford amazing coastal view from the cliff tops on the way back down to Trevaunance Cove.
We had a lovey Valentine's lunch in the Aggie and caught a show in the theatre in Truro.
On other nights we cooked our own supper in the very well equipped kitchen whilst listening to our music beaming out of your terrific sound system which was so easy to use.
It's an easy walk into the village to collect provisions or a hot pasty from KT's. Hope we can come and stay again in the not too distant future.

Richard & Raymie ,

We first came to St Agnes 20 Years ago with a 6 month old baby and had a lovely Holiday so we thought we would come back and see how things had changed. We wanted to stay close to where we were before and after a good hunt round we found Treth House and it sounded perfect.
Well I can confirm it is as good as it sounds.
It is perfectly located, close to Trevaunance cove (5 minute walk), close to St Agnes and all its great pubs and restaurants (15-20 minute Walk Max).
The coastal paths stretch north and south and again are a 5 minute walk from the doorstep.
Padstow is 30 miles away, Eden Project 30 miles, St Michaels Mount 25 miles. For me this is the perfect spot to explore cornwall.
The House is a joy as the layout has been well considered with the lounge area and dining area both having large French Doors opening onto decking area which gives the best view ever down into the cove (Maybe persuade the neighbour to cut back his vegetation to make it even better !!).
Facilities are great too, kitchen has everything, lounge has Hi-Def TV, Blue Ray, and fast WiFi. Bedrooms are comfortable with just enough storage space for a weeks stay (Some more Hangers would be appreciated I think). Bathrooms are like a posh Hotel, very nice, and Hot water never ran out.
Parking is directly in front of the Decking so again ideal.
So in Summary.... Perfect.
Thankyou Roy & Josette so much for allowing us to Stay.

Peter & Alison ,

My wife Barbara and I spent a week in the lovely Treth House in St. Agnes. We have chosen St. Agnes for our first visit in Cornwall to make day trips to see villages, cliffs and landscape, manor houses and do a couple of sometimes long trails along the coast. Due to the great weather we could do all outdoor activities but always looked forward to come to Treth House in the afternoon and spend time in the house. Roy and Josette have established the perfect holiday home – very comfortable, fully equipped kitchen, lovely bedrooms and bathrooms, great entertainment system and fast wireless. A lot of other facilities we could also use such as the outdoor deck. All you need and much more is there. Treth House is close to everything but quiet if you want it. Pubs and shops are in walking distance but we mostly preferred to stay at Treth House in the evenings to enjoy this home from our home in Switzerland. Really a hidden gem in the southern part of Cornwall. We will recommend Treth House to friends and come back some time.

Emil & Barbara from Switzerland,

A very secluded, well apointed holiday home in a gorgeous location made for a relaxed and enjoyable holiday

Nick ,

We spent a lovely sunny June week at Treth House overlooking the beautiful village of St. Agnes. This newly built bright and light contemporary eco holiday property is fully and thoughtfully equipped for 4 adults. There’s a large flat screen TV in living room and smaller TVs in both the very comfortable bedrooms. And excellent water pressure in the bathrooms and strong Wi-Fi signal throughout the property.

We prepared a few meals in the perfectly equipped kitchen using freshly sourced local ingredients purchased in the friendly village shops. There are several excellent restaurants within walking distance of the house and our favourite was the Fitty Pysk Seafood Restaurant overlooking Trevaunance Cove, a five minute walk away. We also enjoyed an excellent lunch at Taste Restaurant on Vicarage Road in the village.

There are several interesting and scenic coastal walks nearby which we enjoyed enormously and made very easy trips to the wonderful St. Ives, Padstow and Land’s End.

Thank you Josette and Roy for a fabulous holiday.

Sadly one week was not long enough to fully explore all the area has to offer so we definitely intend to return!

Paula ,

Treth House is fantastic, modern, immaculate and eco friendly. In a gorgeous setting within the beautiful village of St Agnes one of the prettiest in Cornwall. The house, is situated with a few other similar properties a total of about 5. Surrounded by trees and a sea view what more can you ask for! We saw lots of birds at the property even a wood pecker landing on the balustrade one morning. It is a very peaceful location. The walk down the hill to the beach takes about 3 minutes (even with 2 small boys aged 3 and 5 – great hill to tire them out as well)! All the village imenities are within walking distance of the property. A fantastic place to go and relax in wonderful accommodation and a fantastic village. A must for anyone wanting to stay in Cornwall. Simply gorgeous.

Sasha,

This is one of the newest houses on a lovely small developement of similar timber built eco-houses, ideally situated between St Agnes town centre and the lovely Trevaunance Cove. The apartment itself is new and spotlessly clean. The kitchen is equipped with all you need for a weeks stay and you can tell from the little touches around the place that the owners use the place themselves and take a pride in their property. This said we still felt relaxed staying with our 15 month old little boy and that he wasn't going to trash the place. This is a well appointed holiday home - not a show palace. The bedrooms are well sized and the well proportioned lounge opens onto the deck with views to the valley, one of the local wheelhouses on the hill top and the sea through the trees. The owners, Roy and Josette were incredibly friendly, efficient and helpful in arranging our booking. They organised a (very clean and new) high chair for us at my request without any fuss or charge. We didn't use the travelcot on site but this also looked new and clean. The location is fantastic. Nicely secluded (make sure you let the supermarket delivery guys know how to find the entrance if you use them) and there are only a small number of units on the development. There is a small but steep walk down to the cove with its small pebble beach (life guarded at most times), an excellent local pub with a beer garden half way up the cliff edge, a good fish and chip shop and a beach cafe (being refurbished when we visited). Also within a few minutes walk are the local artists studios / galleries and a lovely little roadside cafe / coffee shop called Genki which has a lovely enclosed garden. St Agnes is a short walk (up the hill) or an easy drive away and has numerous lovely little cafes, pubs, traditional butchers, a renowned pizza take away and craft shops. This is a great base for anyone looking for a great Cornish holiday.

James,

We holiday in St Agnes at least once a year, sometimes twice, and have done for a number of years. We have stayed in a number of cottages. Treth House not only has the most stunning views, it has the highest rating in our book for luxury combined with comfort. Josette and Roy have obviously put a lot of thought into their Eco Home. The attention to detail ensures that guests have a comfortable stay, and all needs are catered for. Even down to no arguing over which TV programme to watch. There is a TV in the Lounge and in both bedrooms... everyone is happy. I particularly love the Kitchen. It's a pleasure to use and cook in.

Thank you Josette and Roy. We look forward to returning again later in the year.

Tricia,

We enjoyed our stay very much at Treth House, with very comfortable accommodation. We found St. Agnes very friendly and enjoyed a lovely meal at the Taphouse, the nicest Sea Bass I have tasted. We also visited the Driftwood Spars quite a few times and found the 'locals' very accommodating, as were the staff at The St.Agnes bakery (great Cornish pasties). On booking we found the owners very helpful and had no problems at all whilst we were there. We would definitely recommend this property to our friends.

Ann & Barry ,

Hi Roy and Josette,

Thanks for letting us stay in your lovely holiday house, we certainly enjoyed ourselves. As a local to the village it was especially nice to have the tranquillity of staying near the beach with absolutely no intrusions!

Perfect place for a romantic getaway!

Ruth and Nick,

My husband and I having trawled the internet for Last minute accommodation chanced upon Treth House. We managed to book a last minute week's stay for the new year period . What a fabulous choice of accommodation. !!! Spotless, luxurious, spacious, peaceful and everything required for a home from home stay. Location was perfect for a relaxing break from hectic city life. The beach only a short down hill walk away was superb. We dined many an evening at the local Driftwood Spars gastro pub. I would thouroughly recommend it. The food was to die for. A massive thank you to Roy and Josette for allowing us the use of their beautiful accommodation. Thank you for great service. The only down side to this house was having to leave it to return to Manchester! The jigsaw you left for my husband to TRY to complete gave me many a peaceful evening...price less.

Jane,

I spent a long time looking for somewhere to stay with my husband and 2 young children (aged 2 years and the other 5 months) within St Agnes. I wanted somewhere reasonably spacious and child friendly close to the beach and the village. We struck gold with Treth House. We happened to be the first visitors to this newly renovated Eco Lodge and so we wouldn't have been surprised if there had been teething problems. However, there was no such thing and we were delighted with the property. The landlord, Roy, was impressively efficient at replying to my many enquiries and always very helpful and friendly. He sent very comprehensive instructions prior to our arrival and the house was immaculate. You can see that Roy and Josette have not tried to cut corners with the spec of the lodge as the fittings and furnishings make for very comfortable and stylish accommodation. The lodge itself is bright, spacious and very warm (even in the middle of winter). We found it child friendly although there are a few valuable items within arms reach of little hands, it wasn't difficult to stop our toddler from touching them. We cooked within the lodge a couple of times and managed to find all suitable utensils required. The location of this lodge is very convenient if you want to be close to the attractions of St Agnes although be prepared for significant gradient walking! The walks down to the beach and into town weren't perfect for toddlers as it's not paved the entire way but I suspect that this would be problem anywhere in St Agnes. Overall, we were extremely happy with our stay at Treth House, were sad to leave and definitely hope to return!

Adam & Sophia ,
